Abstract
Smart catheters are used in minimally invasive medical interventions. Such medical procedures are getting more and more popular as they are less costly and more effective than surgical procedures. However, manufacturing cost of smart catheters is high, especially if they are equipped with sensing functionality.
We are presenting a novel platform concept for the construction and manufacturing of smart catheters.
